WMU NC has lots of opportunites and resources for youth. We believe in establishing a strong foundation for youth to live a missions lifestyle and teaching them what being a follower of Christ means.

Acteens
Challengers

Acteens is a missions organization for girls in grades 7-12. Acteens provides an opportunity for teen girls to learn about missions, do hands on missions projects and go on mission trips, pray for missions and missionaries, give to misTeen Girl on Missionssion causes which in turn helps teen girls develop a missions lifestyle.

MissionsQuest

 

Missions QuestMissionsQuest is the individual achievement plan for Acteens. Acteens and teen girls can participate in MissionsQuest. There are six quests which offer a variety of activities with silver charms for awards.

Acteens Activators & Youth on Mission Point Teams

 

Your youth can go on mission trips through Acteens and Youth on Mission.

Challengers is a missions organization for teen boys ages 12-17 or in grades 7-12. Through Challengers, young men have opportunities to grow in their relationships with God and their peers. Challengers learn to look beyond themselves and become actively involved in missions and ministry.

Youth on Mission

Youth on Mission is a missions organization for co-ed students in grades 7-12. Youth on Mission provides Bible study, learning activities, ministry and witnessing opportunities, cultural experiences and missionary ministry. Youth on Mission encouragesCo-ed student evangelism and missions and equips students to develop a missions lifestyle.

Panelist Requirements & Responsibilities:

The teen girls that are selected are active in Acteens and the youth group at their churches. They are involved in mission projects and events where they serve God by serving others. As panelist they participate in a panelist retreat, have leadership roles at Carolina Girls and spend a day sharing with teen girls for a week at Camp Mundo Vista. Please contact Julie Keith at jkeith@wmunc.org if you would like for one or more panelist to participate in a church and/or an associational event.
