Preschoolers
WMU NC provides many opportunites and resources for preschoolers. We believe in establishing a strong foundation for preschoolers to live a missions lifestyle and teaching them what being a follower of Christ means.
Mission Friends® is the missions education organization for babies up to kindergarten.
Developmentally appropriate curriculum is available in four age groupings; Younger Mission Friends (Babies-Ones), Middle Mission Friends (Twos & Threes), Older Mission Friends (Fours & Fives) and Kindergarten Mission Friends. A church may also choose to blend any of these groups as dictated by the number of leaders and preschoolers. Additional resources such as games, activities and pictures are also available.
Mission Friends meets the need of developing the whole child. This curriculum engages preschoolers in a variety of ways: learning through play, helping others, creating projects, taste, touch and smell. Through the care and instruction of their leaders- the foundation of faith is laid. This age group is exposed to a basic awareness of God's love for all people, including the love He has for each one of them.
