WMU NC believes in establishing a strong foundation for our children. By providing a missions based curriculum, demonstrating how to live a missions lifestyle and teaching them how to live out what being a follower of Christ is all about.
Children in Action is the missions organization for boys and girls in first through sixth grades.
Girls in Action® (GA) is the missions education organization for girls in 1st through 6th grades.
Through hands-on experiences, stories of missionaries and cultural understanding activities, GAs learn that they can change their world as they:

Learn about missions

Pray for missions
-
Give to missions
-
Do missions
-
And participate in the work of the church
GAs are challenged to live out Micah 6:8 (NIrV): “The Lord has shown you what is good. He has told you what he requires of you. You must treat people fairly. You must love others faithfully. And you must be very careful to live the way your God wants you to.”

The GA motto is:
"Go Forward!" (Exodus 14:15).
Let’s do just that...
The curriculum is written in such a way that all six grades can work together or smaller groups can be formed within age groupings.
Members of CA, known as agents, are encouraged to help choose, plan and conduct monthly missions activities, known as Live Action Projects. Scripture comprehension and application are focused on throughout the curriculum.
The CA pledge illustrates the purpose of Children in Action:
“As a member of Children in Action, I will pray for missions, give to missions, learn about missions, and do missions through the power of Christ.” Through CA, agents begin to realize that missions is possible as they learn how missionaries fulfill their call. They also begin to realize that they can make a difference in their world as they respond to the needs that are around them.
The CA prayer calendar provides a Missionary Kid (MK) for whom the agents pray for, through the following week.

Royal Ambassadors (RAs) is the missions education organization for boys in grades 1-6.
The RA Motto, "We are Ambassadors for Christ," not only gives the organization its name, but also gives the boys and leaders a lifestyle goal. This Motto is taken from 2 Corinthians 5:20.
2 Corinthians 5:17-20 describes the purpose of Royal Ambassadors:
"Therefore if anyone is in Christ, there is a new
creation; old things have passed away, and look, new
things have come. Now everything is from God, who
reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the
ministry of reconciliation: that is, in Christ, God was
reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their
trespasses against them, and He has committed the
message of reconciliation to us. Therefore, we are
ambassadors for Christ; certain that God is appealing
through us, we plead on Christ's behalf, 'Be reconciled
to God.'" (2 Cor. 5:17-20, HCSB)
